Welcome to our campaign. We're determined to place a well qualified and pragmatic candidate who listens and is accessible to ALL our citizens and businesses into Arizona's 4th Congressional district.

A Pragmatic, Business-Savvy Democrat

Extremism and partisanship in Washington is not serving the American people. We need a mix of conservative and progressive values and a leadership that knows how to listen. My father was a Methodist minister, who was sent to various churches in the district as a peacemaker to resolve conflicts. The values I learned from him helped me in my early businesses. Knowing how to build common ground between opposing viewpoints helped me navigate the no-man’s land between corporations, employees and regulatory agencies. Listening to passionate people and building intelligent solutions contributes to the balancing we need to steer our country into the future. I stand for good governance and transparent processes so that all stakeholders are included. When Congress does not compromise and work together the people of our country suffer.

As an independent-minded businessman and doctor, I would lean away from the corporate influences that have shaped our politics and work towards good governance that respects and protects the rights of ALL citizens, balances our budget with fair taxation and invests in our future through education.

Blue Wave in Wisconsin

A lot of people are frustrated with how things haven’t been working in Washington.  Those of us seeking to go to Washington need to demonstrate that we can listen to serious frustrations on both sides, and bring them together to something reasonable. Any pundit who thinks they know what’s going to happen in this year‘s elections should probably get some get some counseling.

Health Care is Now the Largest U.S. Employer - The New Steel

This article was written by a colleague.  There are now more jobs in healthcare than manufacturing or retail, and it's growing fast.

But they're not all good jobs.

In Arizona we need to create good jobs.  We have huge opportunities in solar.
